They're better for smooth, paved roads and are often used for commuting, road biking, and racing. Skinny tires are also lighter, stiffer and hold more pressure than fat tires and may allow you to ride faster on smooth surfaces. Are you the kind of Ebiker that wants the best of both worlds. The Kenda Havok or Chaoyang tire features a reflective sidewall stripe and K-Shield puncture-resistant tire liner.
